A program is underway to inform TAFE college students of industry research, as well as the manufacturing process and testing requirements for bricks.
Austral Bricks™ currently offer donations of product to TAFE colleges, and will become further involved by developing a lecture series for students. The program will expand over Melbourne and the Metropolitan area to support bricklayer apprentices and develop their knowledge of the industry. Austral Bricks™ is currently implementing the program with Holmesglen TAFE, NMIT, Gordon TAFE, Swinburne TAFE, Chisholm TAFE and Gipps TAFE, with intentions to expand the network.
